The child will associate negative reaction whenever he poops and that will hinder his progress. 2. Picky Eaters: Dealing With Snacking Habits

Children will try to avoid the things they don't want to eat. You should draw the line somewhere. Dinner should be filled with nutritious food, which may be wasted if your child has already consumed too much snacks. Children are likely to eat less nutritious meals if they can have all the junk food they want. If you give him junk food too close to dinner time, he may not be able to eat properly.

3. Make Him Independent

If you want your child to function well in school, you should encourage him to think for himself at home. For example, give him a responsibility like picking up his toys a few hours before bed time. You can also allow him to choose what he wants to wear. When you encourage independence, your child feels like he did something good.
