What Planet Were You On When You Thought Of That Crazy Pick Up Line?

Sometimes its really tough to be single. I was at a local bar 1 or 2 days gone and a man walked up to me and said I am hoping there's a fireman around because you are smokin'. Please. Do not try really hard. This isn't simple for us either. We have about 5 seconds to figure out if you may be the person we've been trying to find all our life, or merely another guy who wants yet another fast score. These cheesy pick up lines do not make it any easier to work out who the hey you are.

See what I mean. How am I supposed to work out who you actually are when you open with a line like that? What if we start dating and it turns into something special? Do you really want our how did you two meet story to start with that line? I believe not. Hence I must assume any guy opening with that line is trying to find one thing, and by the way, it's not available.

And, why are they called pickup lines anyhow? Is that your final goal, to pick up a girl? Pick up and what? So, girl pick up lines for guys, to my mind, never have to be clever or witty. Hence should I give you some opening lines that actually might work? As a girl that spends a Saturday night once in a while at a local bar, I will say that offering to buy a girl a drink will work with the right girl. The problem's plenty of my mates will take the drink and run. So I understand your concern with this approach. what about when she says sure then you assert lets grab a table and talk, Ill get the waitress to bring us a couple drinks. What are you drinking.

If she just wants the drink, shell blow you off. If she agrees, great things could happen.
